JUVENTUS PLAN SWOOP FOR VILLA MIDFIELDER
In what appears to be one of the unlikeliest of news, Juventus are planning to pounce on Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz and lure him to Turin in the January transfer window, per reports in Italy Luiz has been a very important player for Aston Villa this season and was instrumental in the huge 7-2 and 3-0 wins against current Champions Liverpool and Arsenal respectively. The jaw-dropping victory over Liverpool was at Villa Park, while the Arse AL win was recorded at the Emirates.
It now looks as though the midfielder has admirers and potential suitors after Juventus approached Premier League club Aston Villa about the possibility of signing the Brazilian. According to Tuttosport, the Bianconeri are well aware that the Villans will demand a fee reported to be in the region of £30 million but will bid for him anyway next month.
Aston Villa are expected to request for a straight cash-for-player deal but can bend their demands and ask for a player swap should the need arise.
